1- Knee surgery is a thing that is happening after all! I'm taking a medical leave of absence for the J-term and will be spending the month of January at home, recuperating. So, I have quite a bit to say, and I'll try to get my thoughts in order tomorrow and say it. For now, I leave you with this: my college was just on national television, and Joe Biden is the man.

I will never get over how lj sends you a message when you do something like upload a userpic. Like, I know that I have a new userpic. You know how I know? 'Cause I'm the one that uploaded it. Life's funny like that. (I know there's probably a way to turn that notification off. It just amuses me too much for me to bother.)

Consider this fair warning to anyone who comes to my journal: I got this for the sole purpose of commenting on fic. (Seriously, that's it.)
